Hanna Sianko

Hanna Sianko is a lawyer with extensive international education in the United Kingdom and the United States. A key milestone in her academic training was her master’s degree from the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), where she defended her thesis on human rights violations.

Ms. Sianko’s legal education is complemented by her in-depth knowledge of international development. This combination allows her to apply a unique interdisciplinary approach to complex global challenges, analysing them through both a legal and political lens.

Her expertise focuses on the following areas: international criminal law, human rights law, and international commercial law.

Ms. Sianko’s practical experience includes working at the Community Legal Advice Centre in London, where she handled a wide range of civil, regulatory and commercial cases. This work deepened her understanding of the principles of access to justice and the importance of procedural safeguards.

Working in a business environment, Hanna Sianko has learned to combine legal precision with a practical understanding of corporate and regulatory processes. Her analytical, research and advocacy skills have been honed through outstanding achievements, such as leading a team in the Herbert Smith Freehills competition on competition law and participating in a prestigious arbitration competition.

Hanna Sianko currently successfully advises clients on a wide range of Interpol-related issues, including challenging notices, analysing and removing diffusions, and data protection issues in Interpol systems.
In addition, she handles extradition cases, advising clients on complex cross-border legal challenges and ensuring that their rights are protected in the context of international cooperation.
