Which countries are not members of Interpol?

Among all the recognized United Nations member states, only North Korea and Tuvalu are not members of Interpol. Territories with partial recognition are also outside the system, including Taiwan, Kosovo, Palestine, Western Sahara, South Sudan, and others. The Vatican is also not officially a member of Interpol. One of the most common reasons countries are not part of the Interpol network is the lack of international recognition and political resistance during attempts to join. Another possible reason is the unpreparedness of their legal systems.
